Mahalo to everyone for showing us love and support while I continue my health journey. This one was harder and required much more reassurance and patience on my part. Lesson: As much as you prepare yourself for life you will always encounter something or someone you never expected. It is at those moments you realize you have only so much you can control. It was in the letting go, I allowed myself to find my inner strength-all that is at this moment was meant to be. Your strength will get tested constantly, that's how we grow and get stronger preparing us for our next life lessons. Nothing lives alone, nothing survives by itself, we are meant to do life together with others. You never know how strong you are until your limits are tested. This surgery is by far the hardest of the three I have faced thus far. No matter how much I prepared, there have been moments for which I was unprepared. From the physical pain to the emotional and mental breakdowns, it has all been a lot. Why do I share so openly? I do so that you know you're stronger than you think, and even in the darkest of times, you will find your way to the light. It isn't done alone but with a village of people who love and support you, who show up when you can't show up for yourself. Your strength isn't just measured by how you endure the pain or navigate the challenges. It's also found in your vulnerability, in admitting when you need help, and in the courage to lean on others. This journey, though difficult, will reveal an inner strength you might not have known you possessed. Remember, it's okay to struggle, to have moments of doubt and fear. But never forget, you are surrounded by a community that believes in you, that will lift you up when you stumble.
